DeposZip Mobile

This app used to work perfectly but, after the latest IOS update, not so much. Like other reviewers I couldn’t get past the instructions page. I finally figured out that I needed to change the DeposZip app settings. Click the Settings icon on your iphone and scroll down to the DeposZip app. Hit the > button and on the next screen uncheck the boxes that say ‘Show Front Instructions’ and ‘Show Back Instructions’. Reboot your phone and sign back in to your bank’s mobile deposit app. You should then be able to take the front and back pictures of your check. It still took me several tries to get the camera/app to accept my pictures but at least I was able to get past the instructions and was ultimately able to make my mobile deposit.

First off this app operated fine for me hence the not totally horrible rating. However after the 2 hourish period It took to process my check my money was put into my account under "credit." I called Resource One asking when I could touch my own money since I had bills to pay and needed cash immediately. I was informed it would be done fully processing until Wednesday of the following week. I had deposited my paycheck on Friday. 2-3 business days just to touch your own money is ridiculous. Get this app if you don't care for whatever reason, but for most this will be a painful waste of time. Might as well cash the check yourself if you don't have DD

At first, I didn't think that it worked. I tried logging in, but it kept telling me that I was offline. After logging onto My credit union's website on my phone, I clicked on the account that I wanted to make the deposit in. I was automatically logged then. The rest was easy. I think sometimes we get frustrated when we don't understand something. Sometimes we have to take the time to figure it out. But we must understand that sometimes we are the problem. In other words "user error." It really does work! ;-)

This App works together with my Credit Union’s App and I’m able to easily, and successfully make deposits. I first login to my Credit Union’s App, and when I choose ‘Deposit’ it automatically launches this app and logs me in correctly so I only have to complete the deposit slip (including photos of the check). Photos require very good light. ‘Decent’ light is not good enough for processing photos of the check. For those having trouble with the App crashing, try deleting the App, power-cylcing your iDevice, then reinstall the App.

I've used the PC version of this for years but this app is even easier to use! The process is faster, there's no formatting needed (unlike the PC version) and the integration is seemless. I use this app at least weekly to deposit checks. The new version has a greatly improved layout that's very streamlined with added features. LOVE IT! Note-your credit union/bank must be signed up for this service, you can't just use it for any deposit.
