Danni Pomplun Yoga

Danni’s approach to yoga is accessible to anyone, a practice rooted in both introspection and physical challenge. As someone lucky enough to take his classes, I get to experience this in-person, but I always feel like I’m missing something when I travel for work. His app has become my go-to practice when I’m on the road, and is a super easy way to get a thoughtful, alignment-based flow while without your home studio. I am someone who just can’t seem to get a solid personal practice on, so having Danni’s instruction on my phone helps me keep it up when I’m away. With classes in the app currently lasting under a half-an-hour, there’s always something I can fit in before or after work. I especially appreciate his 16-minute “Quick Hip Opening” sequence for when I don’t have a lot of time to get some yoga in but need a few moments to ground myself. And the “Daily Pranayama Power Up” meditation/breathwork with breath of fire is an excellent personal reset when I’m tackling anxiety. And finally, I love his Heart Fuel sayings, because I know that those personal insights are genuine and truly felt. TL;DR, Danni’s an amazing teacher both IRL and via video, and this app is a digestible and accessible way to start incorporating yoga into your life.

I downloaded this app right before a long trip, knowing it would be challenging to get to a studio class and find the time while travelling, and I’m SO happy I did. I’m lucky enough to practice with Danni IRL and every time I practice with him I learn something new, about my body, how to move skilfully and feeling connected to myself and the practice. Practicing with him on the app you get all of that joy from home or while on the move travelling. I also practiced the side crow flow with a friend at her home and she came into side crow for the first time ever! Testament to Danni’s mega skilled teaching and way of breaking down hard poses. Highly recommend!

This app helped to jump-start my personal home practice for 2020. I enjoy the simplicity of the app’s user interface, as also the wide variety of classes Danni provides. His instruction is clear, calm with just enough humorous quips to help me relax even more and cultivate a positive vibe when I most need it. I also appreciate the minimalist ambient settings chosen for the classes, supporting visual serenity. The Heart Fuel quotes are the cherry on top for me, coloring my day after gaining energy from a class. All in all, for those who are introverts like myself, this yoga and meditation app is a wonderful experience to have in a portable way, wherever you choose your setting and company to be.

Danni has been my teacher for years. When I moved from sf, I stopped practicing as much yoga but I’m so thrilled to be able to practice with Danni now on my phone. I did the chill flow tonight and it was just what I needed after a long day at work. I look forward to trying the sweatier flows. His cues are easy to follow, the app design easy to use and ascetically pleasing, and having the video makes me feel like I’m in class. Thank you Danni! I’m excited to get back to a regular practice.

As a yoga teacher it’s hard for me to find time for my own practice. When I’m at home I can find dozens of distractions and then suddenly the day is over. I absolutely love the reminders that it’s time to practice! Danni’s cues are spot on. It’s as if he’s in the room with me making corrections to deepen my practice. I’m really excited to have this app. I’d recommend it to anyone who does yoga or would like to start to do yoga!
