Daily To-do List

Usually, you’d want a comparison so that you’d know that this is the best one to get, and I don’t have that since this is the only one I’ve tried, but I can save you the time and effort of testing different apps. I have absolutely no complaints about this app whatsoever. It’s not complicated, I know exactly what to do, it works just like you’d expect: you type in the task and then you hit return to type in another task, and when you’re finished with the list, you hit “done”. You can go back and edit the list. You click the circle next to the task when you finish it and it crosses out the task. It’s simple, it performs well, no bugs, no ads, and I have no complaints. It’s free, no in-app purchases. It even saves your unfinished tasks after you’re device gets powered off or you clear the tab, and gives you the option of adding all, some, or none of the previous tasks onto your next list when you re-enter. Seriously, if you’re looking for just a basic place to conveniently and quickly organize your thoughts and plan out things, this is perfect. So download this app! I’ve been using this app since just after your last update in Aug 2019, and it is now my “GTD Inbox.” I love that it is “like writing on a scrap of paper” because I don’t need a scrap of paper anymore. I like the ideas for landscape mode and a widget, but I have plenty of other apps that provide alarms & notifications so I don’t see the need for them in this app. I’m thrilled with the Backlog feature of setting an item to pop into Today’s List tomorrow or any future date. I’ve got some backlogged items due to pop in on Jan2. Perfect!!! As for the guy who complained about this app’s lack of project tracking, that is a whole other nightmare that would ruin this app. There is a ton of project tracking apps, and they ALL have issues. This app IS one of the first three apps I now use every day! Thank you for this wonderful free app. I avoid subscription apps, and I delete those that convert their prime functionality over to subscriptions, making the free app worthless. I have seen some apps that use a Tips jar idea, where people can pay a reasonable one-time fee if they like the app, or a one-time fee for major upgrades as long as everything still works. I’d pay. The only suggestion I have is adding a Question / Answer Help page or Tips & Tricks page (like setting dates on Backlog). My question is Exactly what does Reset do? I’m assuming it wipes everything out, so it makes me nervous that it is too easy to accidentally touch. Thanks for a fantastic app.

I’ve tried a couple of to do list apps and I like this one the best of all. Mostly because I love how simple it is to carry over tasks to the next day that I didn’t finish today. Because of that, I can use it for both short and long term tasks so I know each day what I should be working on. Even if I don’t have time to get to a long-term project today, I am reminded that it is still on my list and so I can plan on working on it another day this week or whatever. I also like that you can create routines, so that it’s quick and simple to set up the days tasks I can just carry over the things I didn’t finish from yesterday and then add my daily routine and I’m done. The app layout is minimalist and intuitive, very quick and easy to learn.

I absolutely love the simplicity of this app. It allows you to create a daily task list without the hassle of all the details if not necessary. Unlike most apps once you have successfully completed a task and marked it complete it strikes a line through it instead of removing the task from the list. That way you have a feeling of accomplishment once you have completed that task 😊. If you did not complete all your tasks for that day you have the option to roll it over to the next day. Another cool feature is that you can see a history of all your completed tasks for the last couple of days, weeks etc. This is a really cool feature and motivates me to stay productive throughout my day!

Best to do list I’ve had this far. I love that it’s simple looking but does more than you’d think. And instead of having lists upon lists it is one list and whatever you don’t finish can easily be added to the next day without losing any info! I love the history part as well so you can feel accomplished or look back to see what you’ve done for recollection. They just added the sub task function which is awesome!! For those things that take multiple steps to accomplish. One last thing! The routine function! It lets you make a list of things you have to do on a daily basis and by pressing one button you get those on your list as well. Great app so far!
