For about fifty years, I've been enjoying the fun of cryptograms and love this particular app for the large number of quotes/puzzles available to solve. For those reviewers who find it too easy due to the hints given, just go to settings in the game and turn off the hints and red letters when you enter an incorrect letter. Aesthetically, I'd love to see less battleship gray in the layout and options to change themes and/or colors. Eye candy has a valuable place in a game like this, adding greatly to likelihood for continuous play. My least favorite part of the game is the difficulty reading the finished quote because of the pixilated font chosen for that screen; makes solving the puzzle less appetizing than it could be. Overall, a wonderful app for budding or expert cryptographers!

You get one coin for completing a game, one if you do it with no errors, and one if you do it fast enough. If you can average two coins per game then you'll be able to unlock more games without having to buy any coins, I play with the hints and error warnings off. I wish they were more generous with their coins for finishing puzzles and had more ways to earn free ones. A very fun game to play, though. However, a bug they had once fixed is back, but only for some games that are paused (not finished in one sitting): "Show Errors in Red" is automatically on and cannot be turned off.

This is a wonderful game. It challenges you to think about things you usually don't have to think about. However, I wish there was a way to earn more free coins because those without Facebook or twitter are left with only a couple options. Coins should be given after completing the level.

Fun to play, but some games have so few clues, that I find it almost impossible to get a good score. Make one incorrect guess and you can't get three coins. Also it is timing you. Take more then a few seconds and you can't get three coins. Example.... M##########? Answer.... Mississippi

Love playing this game but would love it more if it didn't give some letters to you. Also don't quite understand the coins aspect. You get high scores but only a couple if coins. Would be better if you were rewarded more generously for the higher scores.
