Credit Card Terminal & Reader

This is my first payment gateway/merchant account/credit card terminal setup I've ever done. Not only is the application fantastic, they baby-stepped me through the entire payment gateway/merchant account process and answered all of my questions. Everyone I spoke with understood that I have never done this before, and just wanted to help me through the process. Easiest process I've been though. "Great, thank you for sending that paperwork in, now we're moving onto this (x), you'll hear from {a person} that will be asking for this...", at each and every step, they answered my flood of questions and calmed me through everything. Absolutely fantastic, if you run ANY kind of business where there is any possibility that you would need to take a charge out on the road, GET THIS APP!!!!!! You will not regret it. (I'd give it 20 stars if iTunes would let me) In our first weekend (selling merch as a band), the application paid for itself.

I got this program barely a week ago. I decided I wanted a more robust way to process my clients credit cards and this is the solution. I run a small business and have been taking credit cards by dialing into a phone #, entering my acct #, then the customer #, etc, etc. It was a hassle, especially if you entered the wrong number. This is just the program I was looking for! Almost instant authorization of funds on Wi-Fi, 3G, even EDGE for when I'm in the middle of nowhere. The cost may seem high but once you shop for other merchant services they charge more for the just the set-up of the account! If you want to take credit cards on your iPhone, this is the only application you should consider. Also great job linking to the RING IT UP application. I love how I can create an invoice, pick my customer information and process their payment in 3min, plus it automatically sends everyone an email receipt!

I own a furniture/mattress company on Maui, Hawaii and have been using a standard merchant account through a phone line for a about a year... I heard about this app from a friend and decided to do some research. After a two day process we were up and running and its the most simple and money saving application I have ever used! No matter what anyone says, the credit card fees are comparable to a bank, but you don't have to pay for internet/phone(if you have internet service on your phone), no contract and no set up or equipment fees. It has worked everytime for us with no problems. We take it on the road for deliveries all the time and it does the trick. One concern we had was that people would be sceptical about us swipping their card on our phone due to fraud, however we haven't had any problems after 100's of transactions, in fact most people think its awesome! Get this app!

Perfect little app. This is a great app, that has really changed the way that I do business. Being able to take deposits while at networking events ANYWHERE with a cell-phone signal. This means that I can secure bookings and email a pdf transaction receipt immediately to the client. You can type in your own thank you message with confirmation of date and time of the booking too. Great online interface, great support teams, and very easy to use. THIS IS MY FAVOURITE APP...!!! As a freelance photographer, it really opens up the opportunities. Without this app, I simply would not be able to do the business I am today. Even without the card swipe, I just have to say "I LOVE THIS APP". When I initially researched taking credit cards, I looked at all my options. I went to my bank, but at the time they did not support the Mac platform, I looked at static terminals, wireless terminals, web-based terminals &c. This was by far the most versatile and well supported piece of kit out there, and I didn't need to buy any hardware to start. Any app that pays for itself in multiples in the first month is well worth getting. The processing fees associated with the actual merchant services piece are right in line with their competitors, so make your life easy - Stop looking around for comparable apps, and get this one...

Signed up for a merchant account through Inner Fence and was accepting credit cards with this app 2 days later. This is a very polished app. All you really need is on one screen, you can add additional information on another screen, but it isn't necessary. Some people are complaining that you have to get a merchant account, no app will allow you to charge someone's credit card without a merchant account. They have an offer right now that they will give you a $50 iTunes gift card if you sign up through Inner Fence. I signed up and had my gift card within a few hours. This is a great company and they are making the iPhone a world class business computing device. If you are on the go and need to accept credit cards, this app will make you money. This app is worth the money, even without the gift card offer.
