Cover of Knight is a puzzle designed by Néstor Romeral Andrés and implemented by Garage Imagina. It is a generalization of the Chess Covering Problem that adds 'holes' to the board. Place pieces on the board so that all the available squares -even those occupied by your own pieces- are under attack and the total value of the pieces used is the lowest possible. Records are updated automatically. There are two modes of play: Basic: You can use each piece as many times as you want and with no placement restrictions. Advanced: You can only use the 16 pieces of a standard Chess set, pawns can’t be placed on the first and last row, one bishop per square colour.
