Copilot: Track & Budget Money

Tldr: tried a bunch of budgeting apps, none did it for me except for this one because it was simple and had all the features I wanted. So I’ve tried Mint, Personal Capital, Pocket, YNAB, Honeydue and a bunch of other niche ones that only focus on subscriptions for some reason like Truebill (I was desperate) I looked for so long since Mint is clunky and disconnects all the time. Personal capital has a horrible budgeting UI. Pocket was a bit too simple with (not nearly as powerful as mint), Honeydue didn’t put too much effort into the budgeting side of the app (which is fine, that’s not their core focus). It got to the point where I just gave up. Anyways, when I was reading about this app I was very skeptical myself, and was honestly planning on cancelling after 2 weeks after giving a whirl but it was just perfect. It had all the tools of mint to view and track and I could easily review my transactions. It automatically budgeted for me and I just had to tweak the numbers. The dashboard, categories tabs all do a fantastic job summarizing what I’ve spent and even showing me a simple view of my net worth (without the overcomplicated UI of personal capital). Only thing I wish is that it would be cross-platform BUT I know this app literally just started so the founders just haven’t had the time to get to it yet.

I NEVER, EVER write reviews for apps but for this one, I felt I needed to. I downloaded over 15 apps (Mint, YNAB, etc) to start a budget. I liked the features in some but lacked other features that I wanted. I was going to give up searching for a perfect budgeting app when I came across CoPilot. It didn’t have many reviews so I was hesitant to download it but thankfully I did! IT’S THE BEST FINANCE APP OUT THERE!!! It deserves a million 5 star reviews! It has no extra, annoying things that nobody cares about. It’s all about your finances. I LOVE IT!!! Thank you for such an amazing app.

This app is such a pleasure to use. So smooth and intuitive. I often open up the app for no reason and just look around. The budgeting aspect puts others to shame. It’s still missing a few features from the other big guys, but they’ve focused on the right feature-set for now and everything they’ve come out with recently feels thought out and intentional. Looking forward to what’s ahead!

I’ve tried a bunch of budgeting apps over the years and this is the best one by far. Just the perfect balance between design and features. Dark mode looks gorgeous, and I particularly like the ability to exclude expenses from budgets when it’s something you know you’re going to get reimbursed for. Seriously just an amazingly well done app, worth every penny. PS: Would love for you to add the ability to add description to a transaction in a future update.

I have had them all from paid apps like YNAB and EveryDollar to free ones loaded with ads like mint and personal capital — This app is hands down the first actual productive finance/budget app on the market.
