Started using Coople to find work to fit in around my hectic (and ever-changing) schedule. I’ve had nothing but top notch customer service and found the app very easy to use, having booked my first shift the same day of my on-boarding session! This is a must- have app for people looking for flexible work.

App is easy to use, get accepted to a few shifts but not many. They suspended me due to phoning in sick to one of my shifts. My shift started at 7am lines open 7am not much I could do but I called as soon as lines opened. Also had left them an email as soon as I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it in. Still suspended me what’s fine, I understood they have to abide by the ‘rules’. I emailed them a sick note 3 times and still have had no response back even after calling them twice. A simple yes or no to wether my suspension can be taken off is all I’m after. Wasted my time chasing after them. Rota is a much better agency.

This version of Coople is not as beneficial as the last one. Yes - the layout is more pleasant looking, but when you want to send your hours for approval you have to get the employer to scan your phone. Now, this doesn’t always work, and sometimes the employer sends you away before you can even ask them to scan your phone! It’s easy to forget to ask as well, because when you’ve completed a long shift you’re tired and you just want to get home to sleep! Not to mention not miss your last train... overall, they need to change this setting so that you’re able to send your hours easily.

Honestly the worse, most misleading app I have ever used. Even if you have the ideal qualification and years of experience it’s impossible to get a job on this. You can have seven years admin and they still encourage you to work in a bar to get ratings and be noticed. Out of desperation, I applied for the lowest of low and still didn’t get a position, most of the applications take weeks to decline your app. I called and spoke to a rude agent and he told me your one of 200 applicants for one position, this app is just as good as indeed or Reed, all you’ve got to do is only search temp on them.

The newer app is completely illogical compared to the old one. In the old app you could simply scroll up and down to view all jobs. Now you have to click ‘discover more jobs’, in addition, only the hourly rate is displayed at first glance, rather than the total amount to be earned. Classic case of overcomplicating something simple. I give 3 stars as the company as a whole is good, if it was based on the app alone, it Would be 1 star.
