When this populated my grocery list, I have a couple major issues. The most important is that it is VERY inaccurate and has cost me a lot of money in over purchasing if I don’t catch the mistakes. Example: this week it told me I needed 10 cups honey when I really only needed 3/4 c. Second, it creates multiples lines for items which can be very confusing. I had three different line items for unsweetened coconut this week. I have downloaded and re-loaded the app, and I heard the app was “fixed” but I’m still having major issues with it. There is unfortunately no way to report issues in-app (that I am aware). Additionally, it is not as easy to increase quantities and populate the weeks as I would like (user friendly), but it’s their first app and I have hope there will be improvements to come!

There are a list of changes I recommend for this app. First, you cannot view what a recipe is, you’re just supposed to know. So as you’re adding recipes to the schedule there is no way to see what the ingredients are before adding. I’d recommend tapping on a meal, displaying the recipe as to verify what is in it, and then have an “add” button to place the item in the week’s schedule. Similarly, you can’t really tell what some of the items are by the picture because the picture is so zoomed in. Second, the search only searches exact titles. If I type “Chicken Lime” the recipe for “Chicken-Lime” doesn’t populate because I left out a hyphen. This makes the search feature useless because, again, I have to know all these recipes off the cuff. Not ideal for someone just starting with the program. Third, if you have accidentally entered the meal selection/search (happens all the time by accidentally pulling down while on the scheduler) there is no way to exit that without adding a meal to the calendar and then subsequently removing said accidental meal. I’m sure there are more items, but I’ve only used the app for an hour and am already frustrated.

The general idea for the app is great and very useful. Things that would make it more user friendly and helpful: 1. allow for search or type in recipe name function. Not super fun scrolling a lot to pick out the desired recipe. 2. Give macro count of the recipes that were picked out at the bottom or top of the day. 3. Allow for some toggling of a recipe between the different meals of the day. For instance if I accidentally put a recipe in dinner but meant it for lunch the let me click and hold the recipe and shift it up. 4. A weekly and monthly viewing calendar of the recipes. 5. Don’t automatically fill in with the CSE calendar or give an option to turn that off. These are some ideas and I could seeing using this app much more if it had these features. I had no trouble downloading the app. I really wish the macros for each meal were also included on the daily food-for-the-day screen. Something that keeps track of the macros for each meal and the daily/weekly total would be awesome! It would really help with tracking and accountability. Also, I would love a search bar that allows me to type in the name of the meal rather than having to scroll through a ton of meals to find what I’m looking for. It would make entering my meals so much faster when i substitute something.

I signed up for this app after a friend showed me. It worked the first day and looked totally awesome. I tried going on the second day to do meal prep etc and and hasn’t worked. I emailed the company with no response yet. Today is day three without it working. It takes me to the subscription page asking me which one I want. When I click on the yearly subscription (which is the one I paid for) it tells me I have already downloaded the app and doesn’t move past that page. I hope this is resolved quickly!
