Classical Music & Jazz WRTI

I moved to Philly just 5 weeks ago and was introduced to WRTI by a Lyft driver. What a blessing to have found this station. If you're in the area, you can listen on the FM dial but if not, then this app is truly terrific and definitely helps me get my jazz fix. The app streams either classical or jazz 24/7 and the sound quality is really quite good. A little hit or miss on the syncing of the Playlist not always matching the track you're actually listening to but for me that's a minor nuisance. Overall, this is a stellar app.

This may be one of the most frustrating apps that I’ve used. Particularly the playlists which do not correspond to what is being played. I wanted to find out what Had just been played as it was a wonderful guitar suit and I couldn’t find it and then I begin to look at the rest of them and only one or two of them correspond to see what was being played. I spent the better part of an hour trying to get it to work right but it never did. It’s a shame because when I hear a piece on the radio and I want to find out what it was it is practically impossible to do it. I’ve tried this several times and I’ve rarely been successful. Too bad, because I do love the programming for the most part both a classical and that you have but it is the most frustrating to try and use the app and get this aggravating result.

I found you the long way around over Facebook, by the way of another opera fan , don’t know her , she seems to be near PA, and I am in RI , we do not receive your station , I checked , I found u on Saturday the 11 of January, and have not stopped Listening to u yet, love your programming , the various music , then the other program after the opera , all the Waltons the evening i spend with Edmond about themes from movies, the variety of your music is sooo wonderful to me , thank you

This app is great, if you like Jazz or Classical. You can listen to either streams or articles they post, with the phone locked to save battery power. The only issue I have (and it may be an issue with streams in general) is that sometimes the stream quits on you, necessitating unlocking your phone, then pausing and playing the stream again; or even closing and restarting the app. For the price though, it's not a deal-breaker. Thanks for making this app, folks!

Doing a pretty good job! It would be nice though if you could have a buttons for ones to press when they may prefer only to listen to either Classical or Jazz instrumental music only than having to listen to people chat about this or that when they may only need to relax to music only while they are say writing or illustrating children's books and need to concentrate on what they are doing, see? Then I could give you five stars. Thanks!
