Chocolate List

UPDATE: The app has improved with the new update and is easier to search, which is great because the list grows every month! I'm discovering so many new companies working to make ethical chocolates! ... I use this App every time I shop for chocolate or am offered chocolate. I have my favorites that I know are recommended, but with this App it is so easy to shop responsibly. I love that the list is often updated and I am so grateful for this resource. I recommend it to anyone who cares about where their food comes from!

Food Empowerment Project has done it again. Beyond being a solid social justice org, they make a great app. This makes it easy to search for ethical companies, and not-so ethical companies, when making decisions about what chocolate to buy. And when we all get to vote with our dollars, it's important to get it right. Thanks FEP!

I love that this app can help me decide whether to buy a product I probably don't need in the first place based on whether the chocolate is sourced ethically. If it's produced with slave labor, then nope! Don't need it! But I'm happy to see a lot of my favorites listed as approved and now I know which brands to avoid. Thanks, Food Empowerment Project!

I'm so grateful for this app helping me pick chocolate that does hurt people or animals. This is how you put ideas into action! Chocolate companies that source from places where child and forced labor can not hide with this app. Anyone who wants to stop supporting greedy corporations should get this list.

This app is such a wonderful resource! It can be overwhelming trying to choose a product that meets ethical standards, but now I can just easily search and find my answer! There is definitely some room to grow for this app but I hope as more people use it and FEP receives more funding it will continue to improve!
