Chet: Professional Development

I’ve been an user of this app for a while and it’s exciting to see new and interested content getting shared daily! If you are sick of all the spam on your newsfeed in other professional/social networking apps (think the self-promoting LinkedIn posts, never-ending ads on Facebook, or politically fueled debates and trolls on Twitter) then you will be relieved to find Chet. Since downloading the app, I have actually decreased my screen time and read more books. It’s encouraging to see how current and future leaders of different industries are investing their time, whether it’s reading so and so book or listening to a particular podcast. It’s like a curated list of knowledge for you to consume!

Been using the app for a few weeks now and I find myself posting on Chet more often than on other apps. It’s like I can be myself on other apps, but I can be a better version of myself on this one. Only downside I can think of is that’s it’s a little buggy here and there, but nothing major.

This app is perfect for getting quality recs from friends and colleagues. I’ve personally discovered a few books and podcasts I’m now consuming because of a Chet. Easy to post and browse. Recommended!

Chet is a great app for sharing and engaging with purposeful content. People are sharing content that they’ve used that is helping them develop as professionals or entrepreneurs. I’m already feeling more knowledgeable from using the app!

Finally. An application where I can see what my friends and coworkers are doing to improve. I see the potential here for recommendations. Should have a tagging feature!
