All charging points in DACH region in one app! Filter by plug and charge card, share charging procedures and get push notifications if one of your favourites is faulty. No need to register. With this one app, you’ll always know where all the charging points are instead of needing to trawl through individual apps and countless websites from different providers. Either display all charging points in a specific area or filter the display by your car’s charging connector, your charge card and the charging speed. This lets you see which charging options are available in general or lets you display only those charging points that you can use. Select a charging point, check its details and navigate to it simply using your map app. You can check-in at the charging point to acknowledge you’ve charged successfully, or if there was a fault. This valuable information will then be shared with all other app users, so everyone can check before driving there whether there have been any recent problems with this charging point, or if these problems have already been marked as resolved by another user. If you use a certain charging point repeatedly, or are planning a trip with multiple charging stops, add the charging points as favourites. As soon as problematic check-ins are reported at your favourites, you’ll receive a push notification. This saves you from a wasted trip to your go-to charging point, and also lets you reroute your trip before you commence it. If a fault is marked as resolved, you’ll be notified. chargEV uses data from openchargemap.com as well as the goingelectric.de charging point directory, which the EV community puts a huge amount of effort into updating. This means you get a vast amount of additional information on practically every charging point: ∙ Photos of the charging point and the exact location ∙ Information on opening times and access restrictions (barriers, gates, etc.) ∙ Nearby businesses, facilities and options for when you’re dawdling ∙ Condition of the charging points ∙ Temporary restrictions (roadworks/construction works, events, etc.) ∙ ... and lots more besides! By default, chargEV uses date from the goingelectric directory. For searches beyond the DACH region, it may be worthwhile switching to the openchargemap.com directory. New or unknown charging points need to be reported directly to each directory. They will appear immediately in chargEV once the directory providers have reviewed them.
