This is a great app. At first i had my iPad rotated and locked to horizontal and i could only get one ballistics table for one set of entry points. Then i found out you need to rotate vertical to enter new data and everything works great. Very handy and infinitely more practical than taking a laptop to run chair gun. Not only can you get your table for the shot, but there are several graph modes that I didn't expect for a mobile version. Hawke does us pellet shooters a great service by supporting chair gun. Only suggestion: in horizontal display mode show a note to rotate for other menus.

The new Chairgun 4 for Mac OS (NOT this app...but rather the mother program for your computer) was upgraded recently with some very welcome additions that now allow the distance grading of a full reticle (not just the bottom half) as well as enough resolution on the axes of the graphs to know what holdover to use for a fine range of distances. The iOS app (this app) still only allows you to see a half of a reticle (bottom half) at any time and doesn't allow you enough resolution (or any control over) the axes of the graphs to be useful. For instance, you can look at a longer or shorter range on a graph, but the app automatically resizes the axes with spaces that are often useless (e.g. spaces on axes are a full 3 mil-dot between lines!!!!)....making it virtually impossible to interpolate the holdover to use down to even one mil dot (let alone a half mil dot). This is a great mini app for the full MacOS program for your computer (which is absolutely phenomenal and supremely useful) but unfortunately, you can just take this app out into the field. You still need to do your calculations on the computer and print out range cards or a copy of the full reticle a with holdover markers.

There's so many options and it has already helped me sight in my to gamos. I have tested its accuracy with about ten deferent pellets and where it says ill hit is where it hits. For example I punched in the numbers for sighting in at 25 yards. It says the with my set up my poi should be 1/2 low at ten. So I sighted the gun in my living room at a measured ten yards. The went out side and my first shot at 25 was dead center of the bullseye. Followed by three more that cloverleaf the first pellet all touching. Can't get better than that.

Its a rare occasion when you find one of those incredibly AWESOME apps that simply does EVERYTHING and MORE that you could ask for ... and then, to have it be free??? I would gladly pay 5-10 bucks for this app. I use iSnipe and Ballistic (sp?) and they are both awesome but THIS APP, **CHAIRGUN PRO** is not only free but more intuitive, fully featured and simply astounding in its feature set. Accept no substitutes.... THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT. Its got a spot on my iPhone 6 homepage now. Thanks, Hawke Optics!!!! You've outdone yourself!

Numbers entered into a field, for no apparent reason, will automatically change to a different value. For instance, I put in an altitude of 284 meters and then put in a barometric pressure of 1000mB. ChairGun then decides to change the altitude to 90 meters. This isn't just isolated to the above example. It happens in just about every field. The mobile version's range card didn't match the desktop's range card (this is after cross matching the input data). You can't erase numbers from a field by using the back button. All in all, far too frustrating. I purchased Strelok Pro instead.
