Carpool Kids: Family Calendar

I love this app. We started a carpool with 4 family’s to and from school this year and this app saved the day! It makes it so easy to see who is driving and which kids will be participating each trip. With the swipe of a finger kids can be in or out for any specific trip. Our 5th graders are able to look st the app to see who is driving each way. Makes carpooling what it is supposed to be, helpful! I highly recommended it!

I love this app. But it's solution to our carpool problem is very clunky. We have 11 kids, so they obviously can't get into one car. So we have to create multiple events for the same event. The problem is that sometimes we can fit them all in 3 cars, but other times it takes 5. We don't know how many cars are needed ahead of time. So we still have to discuss back and forth until we gone in on a solution...even tho we still use the app. Our lives would be much simpler if multiple drivers could sign up for an event and each creates a number of available seat slots. Please please please add this feature soon. As it stands the app simplifies already simple carpools. Please help simplify our complicated carpool!!

Great efficient visual tool for planning carpool! I’ve used this app for over a year seamlessly. Unfortunately, we had a user error with this app. I added my daughter back into her soccer carpool rides home after having her not riding for 2 months. The app updated on my phone but did not update to the “going home” driver and my child was left at soccer practice. The simple solution is to turn on notifications in settings (the lower right hand corner of the screen). If you are new to Carpool-Kids, be sure to enable notifications!

This app is like an easy button for carpooling the kids! For those who aren’t tech savvy, it’s extremely user friendly and easy to navigate! If you do have any questions, tech support is sooo helpful and quick to respond! (Other apps have taken days if anything to respond to any concerns or issues if addressed at all) I highly recommend this app as an organized and effective method to get your kids around. Seriously, loving this app!

Great app, does what you’d want it to do. Here’s an easy way to get more value: use the app’s option to sync your driving events to your calendar. Then open waze and in the settings you can hook it to the same calendar. Now, taking into account where you are at any given point and current traffic conditions, you’ll be reminded when it’s time to head to the pickup only on your driving days. Sweet!
