I agree with “so frustrating!” saying it is sometimes difficult to place cards where you want to place them. Knowing it is a right move, you keep trying and sometimes your turn times out and you lose. This is a total pain! Especially annoying after you pick the pack and can hardly see the cards in your hand let alone select them and drag them to the proper spot on the board.

I love playing canasta with people from all over the country and even some from other countries. After you play a lot- It is even more fun because you get to know the other players. Playing against the computer is also a great way to practice and improve your game. Plus it is fun and addictive. The app is fabulous and better than ever! I love it!!!!! And it keeps getting better as I get to know some of the players.

Wow, I can’t describe how smoothly this app runs. There is a wide variation of game modes and even online play where I can try my skills against real players! I barely knew how to play canasta when I bought this app and since downloading Ace really helped me learn all the basics. I would also recommend the Canasta League of America’s pamphlet on the rules and strategies of the game. Enjoy!

My biggest beef with this app, aside from the fact that it is not very user friendly and has multiple gameplay bugs, is that it claims to be cross platform compatible which is not 100% truthful. You must purchase the game for every device. I bought it specifically because I wanted to play it on my computer, then on my phone when I am on the go. When I contacted the company they said it was Apple’s policy that it not work across platforms which is also not truthful. Lots of game do it extremely well. 10 bucks is very steep for an iPhone only app.

Using the rules and regulations of the Canasta League of America, this app allows you to play online with others as well as practice your technique with the computer robot. The new feature of Duplicate Canasta is great - really fun! It’s like Duplicate Bridge .... but for Canasta Players. Some have had issues with cars placement but I can play for hours without issue!
