Call of War: WW2 Strategy

This is a great game, and can get addictive very quickly. It’s the closest thing to HOI4 on the App Store, is regularly updated, well maintained and has some tactical skill involved with it. However, the issues I can name are the numerous bugs for mobile users e.g not being able to join and alliance, occasionally freezing on the loading screen and the diplomatic, information and messaging tabs getting mixed up. Also, there are some strategic options that are not there. It turns into whoever has more divisions win rather than having to make any decisive decisions. There should be things such as ‘Encircled units receive 50% more damage’ or ‘*name of country* capitulates’ if they lose too many cities (I know I am just taking many of these ideas from HOI4 but it’s what I believe will make the game more fun and decisive). More positive comments I can say are that this is very historically immersing such as Poland having less divisions than Germany etc, and you should leave it like that, and not try to over-balance the game too much. All in all it’s an excellent game and I recommend to all strategy fans out there.

This game is very additive, and it is has great role play and a great community of great players. however, there are a few minor bugs on the mobile and tablet versions, for example, sometimes, it just kicks you off of the game for no reason at all. Maybe you could add encircled units and also, if players don’t take built up provinces, there could be supply issues. Would also love support of rebel’s, for example, you could send a rebel group, say, 10,000 per day, and they would build up and maybe the more money you give, the more troops and tanks they have. Would also love a blitz mode, been playing one game for 1 month plus, and would love a mode that goes on for a week, or even a day. All in all, the game is great.

Before the new update I would give 5 or at least 4 star, it was really good as you could view your army even at larger map view but now you have to close up really near. The game lags much more now having to restart my game and sometimes the game kick you back out to loading screen. I’m more satisfied with the near graphics but the larger view graphics is poor, the radar of army visual looks less clear. I’m not sure what’s going on with two army’s fight as sometimes I win the fight in secs and some takes hours even with same numbers and types. And lastly I like the fact that if u take over a opponent province if the morale in the provinces is really low for a period of time and if not improved it will change side with other countries but why is it random and different countries shouldn’t it be with the previous country which u got it from due to this I have to start a war with different countries as once.

This is overall a brilliant. It has been well made with all the provinces to capture and major points but I can identify 2 problems. 1: is the unfairness of the country’s inherited what I mean by that is that say if all the country’s like Germany and Britain are taken and your left with Belgium your a tiny country stuck in between France and Germany. And my second problem is that players just stop playing once they join and it takes most of the fun out I find this game at its best when you both have to out manoeuvre each other because it’s a strategy game not just you steamrolling through a country which is left uncontrolled by a player but I feel like these are quite difficult problems to fix

Way too many times you will be approaching an enemy’s unguarded province and suddenly twelve rockets will spawn all at once there and wipe your army out. It’s a shame because it could be a good game but with all the pay to wins it’s just not worth downloading. Reports about cheating players also take ages to review; I was in one game an enemy who had a multi account who was so obvious they even had the same name with only one number at the end difference- I reported them because multi accounting is against the rules but by the time they were banned they had already knocked out three players who were playing legit. What’s the point in having a report option when rule breakers as blatant as they were take three days to get kicked? How many moderators do they have? Very disappointing game.
