Calculator +

I’ve tried probably a couple dozen calculator apps over the past few years. There have been 5 or 6 I’ve used extensively to see if they would work for me. I came across Calculator+ a couple of months ago and I can confidently say it’s the best calculator app I’ve used so far. There are apps out there that offer some more advanced/specific functions and there are some that specialize in fancy features like handwriting recognition. Calculator+ seems to offer pretty much everything I’ve liked about other calculator apps and displays it all in a sensible UI that’s easy to use. I’m still using the free version since it has 90% of the functionality I need, but I will probably upgrade to the paid version soon to get access to the equation solver, graphing calculator, and handwriting recognition. Really a great calculator app. Give it a try!

My friend insists that THIS app which I installed on MY phone is for nudes because 'why don't you just use Apple's calculator app?' Clearly she has not used this app's calculator interface. My point is, there used to be a 'calculator' app for nudes on my phone but since I did not receive any nudes as expected, I deleted this app. What I did receive however, was an excellent user experience throughout the year and more I have used Calculator+, and while this app does not in any way lead to nudes sent to my phone, it does a very good job at intuitively calculating my expenses with it's simple and friendly interface. I have no way to calculate the probability of receiving nudes in the near future but what I do know for certain (besides the stubborn persistent of my friend) is that I will continue to use this app well into the future.

I had paid the in app purchase price for this app a couple (or more) of years ago. This has been my only calculator app for iPad. I was happy to use it regularly. Today suddenly the app was behaving funny, it would not stay open (even after the restart cycles on my iPad). So I did what I am asked to do. I deleted the app and went back to re-download it. It showed the usual "download from cloud" symbol, and did not ask for any other authentication. It downloaded fine and when opened asked me to rate the app! (Imagine if I was a new user and opening the app for the first time....asking me to rate it before I have used it even once!). I clicked later and went to punch in my equation. Lo and behold the screen appeared asking me to pay $4.99. This has happened for many other paid apps too, no big deal. Always it says you have already purchased this app so there will be no charge (or some thing to that effect). I went ahead and allowed the transaction to go through. Sad thing is, it charged me - AGAIN. This is ROBBERY, by any standards.

I use this calculator all the time because it has all the functions for basic calculations. It's no TI-84, but I can do sine, cosine, and tangent along with logarithmic functions. If you’re looking for something that’s at least a little bit better than the Apple calculator, this is the one. I also like the fact that when you start typing there are arrow buttons that allows you to go through the problem and edit it if something was typed in wrong. In the Apple calculator, you have to simply start over what you were typing if you realized at the end of the problem that you copied it down wrong or something. The only real problem with it is that even though it is free, it asks you to upgrade 50% of the time, but I guess for me it’s not a big deal.

This is by far the most intuitive calculator as it saves me plenty of headaches as this is the only calculator in IOS that can actually show all your work and what your inputting while you are plugging in the math problem. I use this for accounting purposes in double checking and checking my work. As I can see every number and be able to correct any mistakes derived from human error. The other calculator apps make it as a headache as you’d have to do the entire math problem again and still do the same mistake as you are not the seeing the math problem in its entirety. I just wish this happens on my iPhone as well as my other devices.
