Budget Taxis

First class service, on time, cheapest by far compared to any other company and most of all extremely reliable. It started on a beautiful Monday morning when I slept in for my flight. The alarm clock didn't go off so I was in bed snoring away, until I got a phone call off the driver to let me know he was outside. I told the driver I had slept in and he said okay and I told him I'd be 20 mins and he was happy to wait which is unusual. Any other company would off told me where to go and the fact that the driver waited was amazing. Never experienced anything like this, it was almost like I had a chauffeur at my phone. The driver got me to my flight after I had a shower and ate my breakfast and it was only 15 pound. However I had to give the driver 20 pound out of goodwill as he waited and I wouldn't be able to get another one due to it being rush hour. Well at least I got there and that was all thanks to budget. What can I say, if I had the money I would buy them myself as I was outstanded. I am an international student studying in Newcastle and I have been using Budget Taxi since 2017. It has been so reliable as their service is always top notch. The accessibility of the app is user friendly and has the information that you need to know (ETA, location and the driver’s information). I would recommend this to everyone as it is just simply convenient, safe AND CHEAP! After walking to some distant shops where I live (45 mins) I decided to call a taxi instead of carrying the bags back. The app told me the driver would be there to pick me up in 5 mins. So around 20 mins later the car on the app finally begins to drive towards me but my phone charge is beginning to run low as I keep on checking. I then received a call off the driver but my phone froze and turned off before I could press answer so I went looking for the taxi at the Tesco entrance. About 30 seconds later the car pulled up and I signalled him down only to see him frowning at me like he wasn’t expecting me, I asked if this was for me and his reply was that I didn’t pick up the phone so he answered another job. I told him my phone died and he replied I’ll have to call another, WITHOUT A PHONE. So I ended up having to walk home which I could’ve done 20 mins before. Stupid punishment for such a simple accident, couldn’t be bothered to wait 2 mins to see if I was there even though he pulled up anyway!?

I booked a six seater cab for a wedding and had to change the booking time. It was no issue and we arrived in plenty of time which was obviously so important. We had two elderly passengers with us and the driver was so helpful, he assisted both of them out of the car without being asked and had a good laugh with them at the same time. Thank you very much, always my go to taxi company

Always on time most of the time apart sometimes early so I panic. Driver always says don’t worry no hurry I’m early take your time. I really appreciate that as suffer from very bad anxiety. Drivers always very polite aswell when taking you from A to B. Only taxi service I use and can’t fault the service. I always recommend Budget Taxis to friends and family. Good job people and keep it up😀
