Brute Force WOD

I use this app almost every day and like how it is set up pretty much across the board. It’s easy to see the sandwod (workout), leaderboards and your workout history for reference. Everything about the app is really easy to use except the timer, which I find cumbersome and frustrating. I wish it had its own section just like the “sandwod” or “leaderboard” page and could be formatted for a timer, countdown timer or a Tabata clock that you could set your own work and rest time on. This would give me the flexibility to make changes to workouts to work around injuries and still have a record of my work. It’d be nice to use the timer with my own music playing in the background and still have alerts play over my music. Everything else about the app earns 5 stars but that timer knocks it down 1 for me.

I’ve been using this bag for about a year and a half and I absolutely love it! For training I only use this bag and jiu-jitsu. Also, I get all of my workouts from the sandWODs on this app. I appreciate being able to look through multiple workouts in the ‘history’ section. My only complaint is that after each workout it asks you to save your workout time. It even has a section for notes where I put the weight used or anything else I want to make note of. You can also mark the workout as a ‘favorite.’ However, there’s no convenient way to go back and view my workouts. I can’t see my notes at all. I really want to give the app 5 stars because I love the bag so much but I just can’t until those things are resolved.

This app is great. It gives you a new workout every day and a warm up to go with it. There still are some flaws. The timer function could use some additional features such as being more integrated into the workouts, and giving ques for set changes and so forth. It would also be nice to be able to access a library of workouts in addition to the WOD. That being said, I really like this app.

I’ve been using this app for the last 4 months and have been really happy with the variations of workouts as well as the results I’ve gotten since taking up sandbag training. The only thing I’d like to see added is the RED wods that brute force sandbags shares on social media be shown/available on the app itself

Brute Force takes all the guesswork out of planning your next WOD. I have been using their app and sandbags for the past year now and never once have I felt I wasn’t pushed physically and mentally. Their product works and you will see results quick.
