Brandefy: Affordable Beauty

This app is so great! It compares so many major prestige brands of makeup, skincare, hair care, etc. to their affordable dupes and even rate how close each dupe is to the prestige brand. For example, when comparing a popular high end concealer they’ll have several affordable dupes and rate each dupe on a scale to how close they are to the high end brand. Those on the red end aren’t very close, those on the orange end are somewhat similar, and those on the green end are very similar. Plus feedback from real people who’ve tried the products, so you can be confident in the comparisons. I’ve tried so many dupes that I had never even heard of that are so awesome thanks to Brandefy. If you rely on reviews before trying things out or just want to find great alternatives to your favorite brands you need this app!

Great idea-really enjoying the app! Wish is was visually more understandable. For example, when you click to see the comparison between two products you see one bar that tells you how similar the two products are with colors to match (green being very similar, yellow less comparable, red etc.). However, to know anything else you must read the full description below. If there were standardized things they are looking for (like cruelty free) make more bars, make it more visually appealing so we don’t have to sit and read paragraphs to find the part about the products we care concerned about (creamy-ness of products, quality, longevity, etc.) give them rating out of ten for example: so tarte would have a 8/10 while l’oréal a 6/10 for quality on an eye shadow pallet so we can decide ourselves (randomly picked these brands and products not based on your app).

If you use any sort of beauty supplies and you don’t already have this app, you need to download it ASAP and start saving money. Beauty products can be so expensive and there’s usually an alternative that is half the price. This app is a lifesaver when it comes to deciding between which products will save you money but also be worth it to buy. I always look up my products on this app before I buy to make sure it’s worth the money or to see if I can find a cheaper option with the same ingredients. First of all, like many others, I am so delighted to have Brandefy in my arsenal. I came across it on Instagram and have been hooked on the transparent reviews from people that have owned or used both products in comparison. It helps a lot because I tend to purchase products that are visually appealing and tend to disregard harmful ingredients and even the harmful process in which the product was created. But fear not, Brandefy has educated me in more ways than one and allowed me to select products that are cruelty free among many other things. Looking forward to what Brandefy contributes now and to the future! 💖✨

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this app on Instagram because it’s helped me purchase dupes for my skincare products instead of breaking the bank every time! So useful and I can’t wait to see what other products I can find cheaper versions for with the same or similar ingredients! Each one is listed for how similar the two products are including their ingredients, which I love for skincare products! Why pay more for something you can find for less & it works the same or even better!
