Just used Brain Check two nights ago. Now it won’t load. I’ve deleted it, turned off my phone, and re-downloaded it several times. Just won’t load.

I read a few of the reviews here but have not experienced these issues. BrainCheck is easy to use, works great on my iPhone 8 and my iPad. Really helpful resource.

Instructions run off the screen and buttons are so small you can barely touch on them. I have no confidence in this giving me accurate results.

Hard to understand tests???

My daughter had a TBI a few years ago in a car accident and so I am always looking for apps for her to help with memory and to improve cognitive function. After spending time with her in institutions such as TIRR and Touchstone Neurorecovery I ask many more questions than the average individual. What attracted me initially was that it said concussion app. I wondered what it could possibly be for because there is no way that anyone should trust an app to diagnosis a concussion or deviation in cognition. That's what ER's are for. In looking at it further it seems it is marketed as an app to track your progress. So we went in and took the tests. The tests were odd, never saw anything like them in diagnosing or testing cognitive impairment at either facility and they are very similar but slightly different than the other apps that test or grade cognitive ability. Then I looked at the cot. Luminosity was the most expensive app we purchased for her but it was used in conjunction with various other apps and workbooks that were a fraction of a cost. I'm not really impressed with their interface. Definitely won't purchase for us or my family but it was interesting to see how I faired when compared to my daughter and grandmother who took the same tests. Glad there are more people developing apps to improve cognition but I don't think, at this time, this one is for us.
