The App effectively is a website. Have to log in. The most annoying thing about Boiler Juice now is they quote you by pence per litre. Present you with a price. Included in the price is a service charge. I say it’s hidden but to be fair it is mentioned when you scroll down the screen and easily missed. For me it’s not made clear. It should be at the top, clearly advising customers that the price is including an additional service charge. For a 600 litre deliver it adds several pence to the price per litre making boiler juice less competitive. For my last two tank fill ups I’ve got a cheaper quote from other clubs and local suppliers without having to price match or haggle. For now boiler juice for me is being deleted.

The upgraded app is now hopeless whereas the old one actually did what you needed. This seems to have been rewritten from the point of view of boiler juice selling more stuff and not customer convenience. From the front screen I can set my tank location, and record my oil level. Why? And why are these two of the four options on the front screen when getting my tank balance isn’t? And why do I have to log in again to order oil? And the only way you can get the tank balance is to go most of the way through the ordering process, which involves finding the tiny grey cross to dismiss all the upgrades I don’t want. I rated BoilerJuice as a company for good customer service but this app is a betrayal of that. Just use the website and prey whoever was in charge of this app doesn’t get their hands on that.

You always expect better with an upgraded app. Not this time. The app directs you to the website, it’s 2018 come on guys that is poor. I might as well just have a thumbnail on my page to access the website. The tank level tracker is useless don’t see the point, location of tank again don’t see the point I know where the rank is!!!, you login into the app and then login again to get a quote. I should be able do all that from the app. Very poor I expected better TBH. Easier to use the webpage. Total waste of an app

And the exact point of this app is ?? Log into the app, then log into the app again which takes you to the desktop version in order to obtain a quote. Tank location, yep, bottom of the garden,I knew that. If that’s for Boilerjuice to know where the tank is it doesn’t work, regularly get phone calls from delivery drivers asking for my location. Tank level, pointless, I have a pretty accurate wireless tank level monitor. I want an app that keeps me logged in and when I need a quote then place an order it should be as easy as that.

Glad that Boiler Juice have sorted their app, I have been a customer for years and this makes things even easier. Lovely on the phone too!
