Blurb Photo Books: Create, Print & Share

I have ordered a book to see what the quality will be like, I remember blurb on the computer being a lot better, you could choose papers, remove logo and other things, the app is very basic and from what I can see only offers two choices of book size. I almost felt like maybe the app wasn't working properly, maybe it wasn't. So I hope the paper will be nice. All in all though a smooth way to get some holiday photos printed, I would not use it as a professional option in my photography business. Great prices though. Thank you.

Have created a number of books in conjunction with Lightroom on my IMac. So when my wife asked if I could create a pocket book, as my son was getting married in Spain and want to use it to show friends and colleagues on our return from our combined holiday. So the day after the wedding I set to work using my iPad to compile the book from photos I had taken on my phone. Couple of hours later the book was sent off to blurb for processing. So disappointed with the results: 1. photos were very dark, not a patch on the PDF version I could download from the Blurb website. 2. The images were cropped tighter than I had expected, even though I cropped my images to 1x1 (square) to match the book format of 13x13cm.

A user friendly app but disappointing that my app account doesn’t link to my online account. There are only two small book sizes available if using the app. You are unable to edit a book once you’ve ordered it, you can only reorder. If you notice an error and or would like to add additional images you have to start again. The book quality is beautiful, but the app needs improving.

This app is awful. There’s no way to change font or size of text and all normal functions are very limited. Thought it would be good to use for pics direct from the phone but design options are so limited that it’s not worth the money they’re asking for a tiny book. Go online and use their proper tools in Bookwright or Booksmart to get the best results for your book. They are the best at what they do but this app is not there yet.

Completely useless to me. Desktop site offers what I need this app is very basic and doesn’t. Trouble is desktop site doesn’t work on iPhone/iPad so now am looking for another company to make a book!
