I got a new phone, iPhone 8 Plus, this week and now I cannot use the mobile banking. I never had this problem when I previously changed phone. I went through every step per the website on my pc and reactivated text banking but mobile banking does not work. It keeps saying “device id not found”. I answered all of the security questions correctly and when I put in my number to reenroll I get this error message. This is BS!! Fix this problem or I’m changing banks to one that is more accessible when things change. Many things about this bank have been making me want to leave and this just tips the hat further in that direction. I haven’t had an issue with any other app. Just this one.

You’ll be able to see your balance and recent transactions, but don’t expect this app to let you actually DO anything with your money. Login for the first time, need to accept terms and conditions? Don’t even think about trying to read them, the session will time out and you have to start all over. Click on My Rewards? “We’re experiencing difficulties” Try to view/configure alerts? “A system error occurred.” Punch in all the information, take pictures, etc to make a deposit? “Unable to process request.” I suppose when they say ‘Most Exciting Bank’ they mean exciting in a ‘watching a train wreck as it hurtles perilously closer and closer to your home and threatens to destroy all of your worldly possessions’ sort of way. This app is just another of a long line of technological failures by Berkshire - they’ve changed their back end software so many times, I’ve lost count - and I’m starting to wonder if a company so obviously inept with tech should be trusted to keep my money safe in this digital age.

My bank was just takin over by bershire bank and lets just say it I’m not impressed the streamline switch has been nothing but! But this banking app is the worst thing ever it’s very basic alot of the stuff i was able to do through the old savings institute bank app I cannot do in this app. It doesn’t show when my direct deposit is pending it doesn’t show my bill pay only lets you make a bill payment! Most of the normal features which should be available in the app are only available on the desktop site which i can access through the app but it’s a task, can’t transfer extra money into my club account MUST go to local branch sometimes a hassle!

This is the most useless app I have ever used. When I actually can log in- which is rarely, basically all I can do is see my recent transactions and balance. It never shows my recently deposited checks, does not show when a deposit or direct deposit is pending, and I can’t do a thing with my money. Such a terrible downgrade from the Savings Institute app and bank, in my opinion. This is app is just the icing on the cake. My family and I will be closing our accounts and switching to a more reliable bank.

Was hoping this would streamline my checking of my account with no luck. Downloaded the app, tried to login, and got as far as having to ask several security questions (what color is your car?), and then told that the user ID and/or password isn’t recognized. Yet the app was able to pull my info from the RMV, DMV, etc. Downloaded and deleted within 10 minutes of wasted time. Developers need to work on this - “America’s Most Exciting Bank” should spend the $$$ on a decent app developer; it ain’t rocket science.
