Belle: Meet New People

I started using belle when it was in it's beta stages. I thought it was an interesting idea and I had used some apps like Meetup, Eventbrite and Groupon in the past. During the beta I was a participant in a user interview, and I was excited to see how the team was able to take the abstract concepts that I proposed and integrate them into the app in a practical way. After seeing how seamlessly the team was able to take feedback and actually listen to what it's users were interested in, I find myself opening the app at least 50 times a week. As a traveling musician, belle has made it extremely convenient for me to connect with people everywhere I go. Moving venue to venue can get a bit lonely doing it alone, but now I don't have to because of belle.

I heard a couple of randos chatting about this new app called Belle at the bar on Sat night, and how they were able to use it to connect for beers. Although I am a very social person and I don’t find it too difficult to make friends, this app makes it easier than ever. After just moving from PA to NYC I wanted to meet some people and try some cool spots in my neighborhood. In about 10 minutes of making a profile I sent a request to someone who was less than a mile away from me. I found out that it was someone who lived in my building, and now I have someone I can chill with daily. I am very impressed with belle, and will be sharing it will all of my buddies from home.

I have a pretty busy schedule in NYC and with so much happening, its easy to put off seeing your friends in person! Me and a group of my friends joined Belle and now we make plans through the app (also, you can make new friends which is a major plus in the big city)... the booking feature is amazing, you can choose a place, a time, and it’ll even export it to your iMac or google calendar and send you a reminder! All my favorite restaurants are on it. The design is clean and simple– super easy for anyone to use! 100% recommended :)

NYC is filled with places to go and things to do, but there has never been a great way to find people to experience NYC with...Until Belle. Belle has really bridged the gap between the digital world and the real world. I can find friends on demand, always have someone to eat with, and spontaneously book lunch with a stranger. I can’t wait until they blow up and have millions of people to meet with!!
