Beans & Brews

Not a single issue with the app, everything is very straightforward, if you get a free drink it lets you know the time frame that you can use it so I always make sure to use it sooner rather than later just in case it expires. I love that they have a point system to get a free coffee, unlike other coffee shops I've gone to. I love beans and brews and all the people working there!

...room for improvement ;) Apps works solidly and B&Bs is by leaps and bounds my favorite coffee (B&Bs coffee is ★★★★★+1/2). There is definitely room for app improvement: 1) App is basically just set up as of now to earn rewards for your free/earned beverage or store credit and apply offers, see menu, locations, etc. 2) App sometimes won’t scan in store and you have to wait or try to manually scan your paper receipt, but from what I understand, that’s a system issue, rather than an app issue but both need to improve. 3) Would be awesome to be able to load funds from my debit card (Apple Wallet) and then use scanner to pay ...as well as have ability to buy and send ppl gift cards through the app (my wife has app, for example) or even just text/email them GC. 4) Maybe even create family/group accounts to earn rewards faster as a family, rather than 3 separate accounts. This benefits B&Bs too by encouraging more spending. ...alternatively 5) the ability to send my free/earned reward to my daughter or wife so they can use (understand it wouldn’t be encouraged for customers to just be sending each other their free reward but that’s why I had the idea of family accounts, so it’s only limited to a few family members ...or a few friends in some ppl’s case)

1. A pay button that follows across the app on all screens. When not using this app often, it can be awkward making the barista wait while I search through, looking for it. 2. A more obvious showing of the balance. 3. An easier way to redeem rewards, especially if we forgot to click the button. The barista and I had a heck of a time getting the balance of my order taken out of the reward since the reward only allows full dollar amounts. Had to do math to figure out how much of an EXTRA tip to leave so that it would round out the dollar settings. Don’t meanie me do math, B&B.

Everything in the app works just fine, however, the user interface could a little more streamlined. Adding a pay button next to the menu and rewards button at the bottom would be useful as well as the ability to store card information for reloading cards. This would be beneficial for individuals using the app in a drive thru who need to reload funds on the app. Make some changes like that and this is a 5* app.

Although I love Beans and Brew, I’ve noticed a theme. Hiring very young humans that don’t really have etiquette when it comes to being in the customer service industry. I’ve been to numerous locations in the Salt Lake Valley and just leaving Centerville location and the girls were more interested in the cute boys behind me. Not s good look for your store
