For the past couple of versions, playback controls are very buggy. Trying to slide the timeline while playback is happening is not working. You have to use the “next” button to play the next clip rather than just being able to slide to it. In a long clip you should be able to drag the timeline left or right to get to the time stamp you want. Additionally, in a professional system like ACS you should be able to export and share a clip on the iPad or iPhone like you can in the Companion app. Lastly, playback speed controls would be nice if feasible.

The title pretty much sums up my feelings. I like ACS but this app could use more development. It is straight-forward, responsive and reliable but, thus far, has minimal functionality. Addendum (6/17): Updated to version 1.1.0. Now drops connection intermittently. Addendum (6/17): Updated to v1.1.1. Still has to be restarted intermittently. If I could have v1.0 back, I'd take it. Addendum (6/19): The app team have improved this app considerably over the past 2 years. A few things, like recorded playback, still need work. If I attempt to pause playback within the last 10 secs of a clip the playback simply cuts off... no pause. Taking a snapshot during playback is almost impossible. This needs attention!

The app works but it's slow to connect to a camera (few seconds) and it doesn't seem to support audio. I can hear the audio from the desktop but not from the iOS app. Also it forgets my preferred stream quality. When connecting from wifi to local LAN server I always want the high quality profile.

Great app. Its nice overall. I wish there was a way for the app to only show the motion part and not the “silence”. For example, if i could easily see in the morning if there was motion during the night on any of my cameras without scrolling through them. Still a 5 star app
