For a successful identification you need: - A German ID card or residence permit with the online ID function activated. - The corresponding PIN - An NFC-enabled smartphone (iPhone 7 or newer) With AUTHADA, you can identify yourself digitally conveniently online, from home and in the shortest possible time, because your smartphone becomes a reader for the electronic ID card. The activated electronic ID card or residence permit with corresponding PIN To identify yourself with the AUTHADA app, you need the PIN letter that was sent to your home by mail after you applied for your new ID card. The letter contains: - The five-digit transport PIN: If you have not already done so, you must change the transport PIN to a six-digit personal PIN in the first step using our app. - The PUK: If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times, you must enter the PUK to unlock the ID card again. - The blocking password: Lost or stolen IDs can be blocked immediately with the help of the blocking password To ensure that your ID card has the eID function, it must have been issued after 2011 and you must have agreed to the activation when applying at the citizens' bureau. If the ID card was applied after July 2017, the eID function is automatically activated for your ID card. The NFC-enabled smartphone Many iPhones can read the electronic ID card. To use the AUTHADA app, you need an NFC-enabled iPhone (iPhone 7 or newer). Unfortunately, the iPhone SE (2016) does not have a suitable NFC interface for identification with the AUTHADA app. You can find the required system requirements on our website. The installed AUTHADA app After you have installed the app, either scan the QR code of the service provider displayed to you in the browser or open the AUTHADA app directly on your mobile device. Now follow the instructions in the app. AUTHADA protects your privacy AUTHADA's eID solution is certified by the German Federal Office for Information Security and guarantees compliance with the highest security requirements. Personal data is only read out if it is legally required for the start of the business relationship between the user and the service provider. AUTHADA does not store your data.
