AUS Weather

This is an excellent app, the best weather app that I’ve encountered internationally. The array of maps and widgets is marvellous, with a wealth of information for prediction. What could be better? Here are five suggestions. Firstly, I travel a lot and would like to see the weather in my location (preferably by default) without having to add this to my list of places. Secondly, I would like to sort the places that I follow in a bespoke order. Currently when I add a place it stays at the bottom of the list. Perhaps there is an option to sort places by proximity? Thirdly, prediction is necessary for planning but I’d also like to know what actually happened. What was the temperature and rainfall yesterday? Last week? Last month? How did observation compare with prediction? There is a wealth of unachieved possibility for weather & climate apps to access here. We could search cumulative totals for any given period. We could interrogate the metadata (which station, how many years data, how many missed days...). This is a big, powerful possibility but a simple start would be to simply give us yesterday’s observations. Fourthly, the current 5-day predictions are great. Why not include the fuzzier longer term BOM predictions. Rainfall and temperature anomaly maps for the next month or season would do the trick. thanks for improving on excellence!

I love this App which has got better and better over the years. The iPad version has a good feature called statistics which I would like to have in the iPhone version. One problem I have had at least twice is there have been inconsistencies between the overnight minimum as shown on the far left of the three hourly bar under the day’s forecast and the day observation shown graphically. (The latter being correct.) This needs fixing.

I have been using this AUS Weather App daily for over a year now & still love it. I've never had any problems or difficulties (the ads don't disturb the usability) arise when interacting with it & found the interface very user friendly. It has great features, information & is always up to update. The customization aspect, tailoring to your locality - where ever that might be - make this my go to Weather App. Cheers!

I have replaced the native apple weather app with Aus Weather because of the much better features & info it gives you. It gives you much more than just the temperature & predicted rainfall. Used in conjunction with Aus weather alert you are always accurately informed of current weather & future weather, with a audio warning of rain coming being a brilliant feature.

I’ve searched high and low for the right weather app - reckon I’ve tried most. This one is a standout , by far the best on the market. I rely on it, particular the measure of wind speed and direction which is an important aspect of weather in my location. The data is accurate and the graphical information is stunning. You can drill down to whatever level you like with the extras bar. Congratulations.
