sMART enables utility repair and assessment contractors to navigate to large emergency power outages under mutual aide agreements in the United States. The app provides locations of restoration staging areas and redirects those same crews if storm conditions create hazardous situations at the area the crew was originally directed to. The app provides both the utility and the contractor feedback on the ETA to the staging area which the utility uses to forecast the estimated power restoration time in large scale emergencies. The contractor is provided with a logged record of their journey which is used by them to invoice the utility and coordinate their response.
