This app has introductions and multiple practice sets for all three sections of the general GRE. If you get any answer wrong, an explanation is provided; and if you still don’t get it, your question will most likely be posted and resolved in the public forum below each question. This app also does not get you half way through a study session and beg you for money. There are multiple days worth of free material here to look at and learn from.

Great for on the go! And I love being able to not only see an explanation and the correct answer at the touch of a button, but if I don't understand the explanation then I can post questions in the discussion section for more help! It's automatically scored and there's even a timer. Much better than trying to use a paper book and flipping through pages over and over but still not understanding an explanation or scoring tests myself. Also easier be discreet and carry around my phone/ipad than a regular computer that I never use.

Has a good review of the concepts being tested, decent test questions, an explanation of every solution plus a comment area where I can ask questions and other users and/or a moderator or contributor will answer. Oh yeah, the math sample test (30 questions) even has options where you can write on the screen like scrap paper, pull up a calculator, etc.

After taking a diagnostic test a few months ago, I was concerned that my score wouldn't be high enough to get into the school of my choice. I practiced with GRE+ for a few weeks, and then took another practice test. My verbal score increased by 6 points, and my quantitative score went up by 9 points! Awesome app!

App gives a review of test taking strats before taking the quiz which is nice. A lot of the answer explanations in the math portion are very confusing if you don't have a strong math background. However, if you go to the discussion section, there is always someone who puts it in "layman" terms. I have definitely learned some things I wouldn't have otherwise known.
