Zuerst muss ich mir folgende Frage stellen:
Wie sinnfrei sind manche Bewertungen?
Das Programm heißt „GPX Viewer“.
Das Wörtchen „Viewer“ sagt einem irgendwie schon, dass man sich damit etwas anschauen kann.
Also muss man sich eigentlich auch nicht wundern, wenn diese Anwendung auch NUR das macht. Also einem einen GPX-Track anzeigen.
Genau das macht sie sehr gut. Online wie Offline (Flugmodus).
Das Programm ist nur so gut, wie eure GPX-Datei. Also wenn das Produkt mit schlechten Daten versorgt wird, wird es auch nicht die korrekten Strecken anzeigen.
Wir haben die App gestern für eine knapp 70km lange Radtour genutzt. Dort arbeitete das Programm sehr zuverlässig. Klar gab es nicht immer zu 100% eine Übereinstimmung mit dem Track und meiner Position, aber wie gesagt, die App ist nur so gut wie die Daten die sie verarbeitet.
Während der Nutzung konnten wir keine Systemabstürze oder ähnliches feststellen.
Auch so nutzt das Programm wenig Ressourcen, denn mein Akku reichte für den ganzen Tag. Selbst wenn die Akku-Kapazität sich dem Ende neigen sollte, kann man auch in den Flugmodus wechseln ohne Angst haben zu müssen, dass die App nicht mehr zuverlässig arbeitet.
Ich kann das Produkt jedem empfehlen, der gern wandern geht oder mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs ist.
Ich hätte da nur zwei bzw. Zweieinhalb Anmerkungen.
1.) eine Hintergrundkarte mit Orts-bzw. Gebietsnamen in der Satellitenansicht wäre interessant
2.) vllt. kann man in manchen Gebieten aktuellere bzw. Bessere Satellitenbilder hochladen. Wir werden die App für unseren Islandurlaub für eine Wanderung benutzen. Da fiel mir auf, dass manche Gebiete und somit die Wanderroute großflächig von Wolken verdeckt ist.
Und die „halbe“ Anmerkung. Wobei das eher nebensächlich ist. An manchen Stellen (z.B. an Kreuzungen) wäre eine haptische Rückmeldung praktisch gewesen. Ich bin mir aber bewusst das es keine Navigationssoftware ist.
Am Ende bleibt mir nur zu sagen - danke für diese tolle und einfach zu verwendende Applikation.
