I love the Apple insider app and read every article. I have for years. Their content is also available on the web and some of it available via Podcasts but the app makes it so convenient. Someone in the industry with a computer science degree, I have a huge amount of respect for the technical expertise of the in-depth articles on technology surrounding Apple products and tangential industry vendors. The articles are well written, concise, to the point and when they are biased, they are very accurate and fair. In other words they are biased with factual basis for those biases if there are any. Overall everything is extremely fair and accurate. Also their price guides are indispensable. It takes a lot of work to compile all of the stuff from vendors and crosscheck and vivid detail. They are an indispensable go to when purchasing the categories of product or when returning your old used products for resale value. Thank you to the staff at Apple insider! Please keep up the good work.

I like to use this app in my iPhone. The problem is that scrolling through an article with one hand it is too easy to accidentally scroll horizontally to the next article when you quickly scroll up. It should work more like Safari where you have to pull from the edge of the screen to change pages. Also it would be great if you remembered where I was on the previous page. Now if I accidentally scroll horizontally. When I come back to the page I was reading its starts me back at the top. I then have to scroll back down to where I was and more often then I like accidentally change pages again. Maybe I'm less coordinated than others but it's fairly annoying.

The format & fonts are beautiful to read. The size of the fonts and their layout is very easy on my eyes. Even the ads are nicely situated so as not to be a nuisance. One quibble I have with the iPad app is that adding comments isn't intuitive since you have to navigate to the home page re-find the article and then login and comment. That's just too many steps to do something that normally isn't difficult when viewing the site within a browser window. Take a look at the iMore app, commenting is very easy and intuitive. Thanks for a nice way to consume Apple rumors & news!

Saw that there was a prompt to start a free trial to read articles within the Appleinsider IOS app that couldn't be bypassed or dismissed. Are you kidding me?!?! I rarely used to use this app to read AI articles while on the go & not near a computer but if I gotta pay to read articles via the app that I can read on the web for free I'd just as soon delete this piece of crap. For the time being, I don't see anything about being able to use the app to read articles for free but that could be because it's designed to bait you into thinking you need to subscribe to continue seeing articles albeit with ads. Guess we'll see if it turns out that there is a way to read AI articles for free via the app but if not, this is one less app I'll be using for Apple news & rumors!
