Registered members can download and read books of their choice through computers or mobile devices. The Macao Foundation aims to promote the academic and cultural development of Macao. To cope with the fast growing demand for information technology, the Macao Foundation has established the Macao Virtual Library and with hopes to create a platform to facilitate information exchange between the academics, as well as for those general readers. In addition, it serves as another medium for both local and overseas readers to understand Macao better. With the increasing popularity of smartphones and tablets, the Macao Foundation launches this free Macao Virtual Library application.
