The controls are easy: touch the header at the top of the screen, a wheel appears at the bottom Left, through which you r roll to the book you want, then you roll the wheel on the right for the chapter you want. You then tap above the wheel and you are taken to the book and chapter you wanted. If you tap on a verse options appear and you can copy the verse with its book and chapter annotated. 5 stars ★★★★★

I have used the Amplified Bible for my personal use for years. I love how it “amplifies” a single word that truly doesn’t have one single word in the English language to give it accurate meaning. Although I’ve had a hard copy, I wanted a copy on my phone for ease when traveling. After I learned how to use this app (I should have read the other reviews 😄), it worked perfectly for my personal use while on a trip to Europe. I would defend recommend it.

As a blind person who simply wants to read the Bible and maybe note verses that are important to me, I use this app for my daily Bible reading. It also works perfectly with my Braille display. Its layout is very simple and allows me to very easily select and read parts of Scripture. God bless the people that made it!

To change books, touch the current book at the top which brings up the selection pane at the bottom. Select the book / chapter and touch anywhere in the top reading pane and the book will change. Yes, there are no instructions but I managed to figure that out... 4 stars - Some additional features would be nice.

I like how quick and easy it is to get to specific books, chapters and verses. I would like to be able to enter a phrase or subject. For example, I was trying to remember where in the New Testament Jesus said to love your enemies, but could not enter that phrase using this app.
