This app works great for my kids. I’ve set up a weekly deposit for their allowance and when they ask me to buy something I don’t have to haggle with them. They just check the app to see if they have enough money. It’s allowed them to learn how to prioritize and not spend too much on frivolous items.
This app has everything our family needed in a simple, shareable allowance app. Syncing between devices, a PIN lock, automatic weekly allowance - all for $0.99/mo. Definitely worth it! But now after changing phones I cant restore my subscription because the app won't let me scroll to see the button to complete it and to make matters worse our cloud data has been goofed up. Even the "Contact Us" support function is broken in the app. It really is a perfect set of features and functionality - when and if it works!
I have been tracking this manually in my "notes app" four years, stumbled upon this accidentally and it is absolutely perfect. Love how you can set up regular allowances and then make "withdrawals" for bad behavior, and add "deposits and quote for extra chores or good behavior.
I had the old app "bank of mom". This app is much easier to use. The only thing it needs is to sync between mom and dad. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Not a huge issue but I would pay for that upgrade.
I love the simplicity of this app, unlike many others that have too many bells & whistles that make it more complex and too specific. This works perfectly for automating allowances and allowing for deposits and withdrawals anytime.
