My Dexcom G6 five minute readings get updated in Apple Health with a delay of about three hours. When these get imported into this App the readings appear to all get lumped together with the date and time set to the time of import thus making their import useless. The Apple Health App shows the readings perfectly. 🙂 Trying to send feedback on this resulted in a message saying no email on my device. This is incorrect, I am using Airmail for iOS. The use Face-Id button in Settings won’t allow me to turn it on for my iPhone XS Max, so I have to use my userid/password. Review would have been 5 ⭐️ otherwise. 🙂

First of all I should stress that I love the potential of what this app can do. It is packed with features that would be super helpful if the app worked properly. Was this beta tested before release? The most annoying but obvious glitches are frequent and unexpected app closures which dump you back to your phones home screen and forces the user to reopen the app and login with the password (especially when trying to order a repeat prescription I eventually gave up and reverted to the System One website), app notifications that will not dismiss even after pressing dismiss all and the inability to use Face ID to secure the app resulting in the user having to login with a password (Is the app may be using an older protocol to enable Touch ID login that is not compatible with Face ID login? as I have this issue with an app my company uses that the devs haven’t updated in years). On the whole this will be a great app once all the bugs are worked through and local GP clinics choose to implement all the features.

I had a problem from the beginning because I tried to read the Privacy Policy. I found that in writing questions to the development team about the problems the app kept collapsing to the Home Screen. This app has the appearance of being under developed, not tested by humans and managed by people who just “need an app” for the sake of having something to show investors. I apologise if this is not the case but it is how it appears. It’s not ready for release in my opinion and has that rushed feel about it that causes the problems that other apps by TCC have suffered, if you have a look they are attempts at the same thing and are rated lower. It appears they abandon apps which is not good practice either. Good development takes time. It can sometimes lead to a problem when the driving force behind the development has no understanding of that fact. It’s currently not useable for me. I don’t like the privacy policy and is not well written. The fact we are sharing very private personal information does not appear to have been taken into it. It’s a shame because if given a real chance and time by the company it’s an app that is much needed.

The first time I tried to use the app I could not find the “I agree” button to click on to say I agreed to the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. I tried again the next day and gained access this time. It works really well, is very smooth and your health information and visits to the GP is well laid out. It is so easy to look at your past records.

First run after install. Signed in. Scrolled to the bottom of the page to accept various T&C’s. Nada. My Internet connection is working fine thank you. Patiently tried several times to agree to app Ts&Cs. No dice. Ironically the EUA states, Except as expressly set forth above, the Licensor provides the Software "as is". Completely unacceptable for what’s meant to be: a medical app to assist patients to interface with a national healthcare service. I’d strongly recommend sticking to the web login if your GP allows (mine dies). At the present time, this app is dead on arrival :-/ & yet another not-fit-for-purpose NHS I.T project (there’s been a few).
