Affirmation Reminder

Love the app. I know it will only get better with all the features you've got in store. Love the new updates. Only issue is that before, you could refresh the random thoughts page and get a 'randomly selected' message. This is extremely important to the element of the divine timing concept that started the app in the first place. This should only be added on to, not taken away from. It was extremely accurate each time I used it. As a matter of fact, the more I updated and added affirmations, the more I'd use the button at crucial times and it would seem as if I was having a conversation with the universe. I have received a lot of guidance and encouragement from this feature. Please bring it back 🌟 love you guys and everything you do ❤️

I love the concept. Love that I can add my own affirmations and set reminders throughout the day. It helps so much to have a reminder for a specific affirmation to start my day off positively, or to set a reminder for a time of day when I typically feel low-vibe. I do wish that I could "shuffle" the affirmations. Sometimes I feel the need but the one on screen is the last affirmation I did, and it will show itself repeatedly. Also, when I get notifications and click them, it doesn't always open to the affirmation that the reminder is for. Finally, I too would pay for an ad-free version. Overall, having the positive reminders and enforcing them with myself is super helpful.

When I first downloaded maybe two years ago, the app worked perfectly. Many notifications throughout the day. And then I had noticed that I hadn’t gotten an notification in a few days. Some days passed and I still hadn’t gotten any. So I uninstalled. I tried to look for similar apps but nothing came close. So just recently I reinstalled. I noticed that there was an update focused on the notifications. I started getting the notifications but maybe only twice a day. I have maybe eight or nine personal affirmations to be reminded of. But I hardly see any pop up. I love this app. Please do something about it.

I thought this was going to be a cool application, an easy one for me to break into affirmations with. However this doesn’t do as promised. I do not get my three scheduled alerts a day, the “random” affirmations continuously repeat the same ones- some are the same back to back, the ads after every single affirmation, .. it’s just weak. I like the affirmations they provide though, they are straightforward and powerful. I’ll be taking those down in a journal and will be deleting the app. Wouldn’t recommend anyone download unless you’re wishing to find new affirmations or wish to get into the habit of repetition. The “affirm” button is kinda cool .. i guess🤷🏾‍♀️

I’ll start by saying that I use this app and will continue to use it. I like the haptics (sound and vibration) that go with the affirmations. I like that I can create as many of my own affirmations as I want. I like that I can read them silently or out loud - the app doesn’t read them to me, which is a good thing. I don’t like that the randomizer really is totally random, which means often the same affirmation will come up multiple times in a row and some affirmations hardly come up at all. I don’t like that the reminder notification never shows up even though I have it turned on in the settings. (In fairness, there are other apps I use whose notifications don’t show up, so it’s probably a general problem.) I HATE that there’s no way to get rid of the ads. I would gladly pay for the app to have an ad-free version. I imagine the developers get more from ad fees than they would from app purchases, but still - ewwww.
