76 Synthesizer

I've had this app for many years and never really took the time to "get into it"... This proved to be to my own loss. My lack of understanding regarding synths was what zapped my interest in this awesome artistic tool. Fast forward to present, and now I see this could have served as an indispensable, educational tool for a beginner like myself (as well as for the experienced). Hopefully more people will find and enjoy this hidden treasure!!

I am sorry I never tried this out sooner! It's very playable and the emulation sounds amazing. Excellent to use as an analog sounding Droner, to space out, or use for ambiance in tracks

Love this app, but will there ever be Audiobus support?

The 76 synth offers a very warm, analog sound which I found great for making thick sounding bass. The MIDI addition makes it much more playable. Using two fingers to swipe through the app was also a welcome addition. The UI has very nice details and works well. There's room for improvements that would make the feature set solid for practical electronic music production. An option to sync LFO rates, delay and tremolo to beat measurements is a must. Expanding on the effects, it would be nice to layer 2 additional effects, allowing more complex sounds. The sound bank needs to be able to save more than 8 presets. I would suggest being able to name your sound and even add a tag/category (bass,lead, fx, etc). The preset UI might work best as a styled list, the current design doesn't scale very well. Imagine a retro LCD with monochrome colors that would display the list of presets and sound categories. This would keep the analog feel and make it scalable for saving large preset banks. Definitely worth the price, if you like sound design, it's a nice entry level, beautiful looking synth.
