3.5因應智慧型手機普及化且APP使用廣泛，消防署在108年規劃設計全國版的「119報案APP」，增加119報案途徑，強化受理民眾報案即時定位，縮短受理時間(尤其郊區及山難)，提升派遣效率，並可由報案民眾提供現場照片及影像，使119指揮中心人員隨時掌握現場狀況。另該APP亦提供簡訊報案功能，增加聽語障人士報案管道，保障弱勢族群之權益。
