StormTrack13 is a redesigned, reinvigorated all purpose weather app from WMBB-TV. Designed by the First Alert Storm Team Meteorologists in 2020 for the general public, this app aims to provide you the tools to stay alert and aware in all weather situations. Some key features of StormTrack13 are: • Weather Alerts for multiple locations, so you can track weather for your kids in college, your friends, or just to see how bad the weather is anywhere. • Interactive live radar data. • Forecast Map Center, with the same graphical information you’re used to from the First Alert Storm Team’s on-air broadcasts. • Exclusive Lightning Alerts, ideal for coaches so that you are alerted anytime lightning is within 15 miles of your location • Embedded power outage maps, so that when power is out, you know when it’s coming back on. • Beach Flags for the central Florida Panhandle, and outside weather cameras so you can check out the beach before you head out. • Daily video forecasts from the First Alert Storm Team, so if you miss the morning or evening news you still have your weather forecast • Submit a photo you’ve taken to our Meteorologists, or a storm report to the National Weather Service • Report price gouging directly to the Florida Attorney General • Embedded LIVE video player so you can streaming newscasts and severe weather alerts, so when power is out, you’re not disconnected.
