Learn English Sentences uses the 10,000 Sentences method of language learning which is similar to an assimilation-based learning program. Armed with enough comprehensible input you get the feel for what is correct. You assimilate enough sentence patterns and vocabulary to be able to produce new, original content. This app will help to increase your vocabulary and improve your grammar by exposing you to thousands of new sentences. Features English Sentence Quiz You are shown jumbled words which make up a sentence in English. You have to select the correct order of the sentence word by word. Type and speak English Practise your English typing and speaking skills at the end of each quiz. Spaced Repetition Learning If you incorrectly select the correct words for a sentence, the sentence will be marked as repeat and you will be shown this sentence at a later time. 10,000 English Phrases There are 10,000 English sentences to practise. Choose Difference Font Style You can choose from a number of different fonts in the app settings. Adjust Font Size Adjust the font size throughout the app. Skip Easy Sentences Ability to skip easy sentences if you are at an intermediate or advanced and are finding the beginning sentences too easy. No Internet Connection Required This app will work completely offline as long as you download the Offline translation in your Google Translate app. Learning and Progress Statistics View your daily statistics for the number of sentences you’ve completed and time spent doing quizzes. Also keep track of consecutive day streaks. Create Notes Create your own dictionary using notes, once you create a note for a word, when that word appears in a quiz, your note will also appear above the sentence in the quiz. Save Your Favourite Sentences You can save your favourite English Sentences and phrases by selecting the star next to any sentence in the app. Quick Sentence Search Easily and quickly search for a sentence by using the app search feature. Translate English Words Translate words using the built in Google Translate features, as long as you have Google Translate installed on your phone, you can translate any word or sentence using the app. Text To Speech Sentences are read using your devices Text to Speech engine. We recommend installing Google’s Text to Speech engine and enabling it in your phone’s settings. You can choose Male or Female voice as well as speech rate and speed in the Text to Speech settings. Daily Reminder Set a daily reminder at a time which suits you. Report Problem If you find a sentence that is incorrect or a problem with the app, please use the in-app Report problem, this will send all the information to us to have a look at and correct if need be.
