Easy Menu Planner

I was using this for some time and suddenly the format was changed. At first I didn't like it, but eventually I liked it : scrollable, large blue handwriting style font. Felt more friendly.... Today I opened the app, and again the format was changed, like the old style. Sadly I like the previous one, blue handwriting style, more. Is there a possibility that the previous one comes back? Thanks for the good work!

This app used to be exactly what I needed to meal plan and shop for the week - the recent update made things a bit crazy but they seem to have tried to get it back to the familiar format that I have grown accustomed to. My one big request would be to have the columns customizable like they had been in the 2019 version as I had added an additional column for "Notes" that I was able to keep track of what we were doing each night so I could plan accordingly (some nights I need an easy meal, some I need a fancy meal, some require no meal at all). I know that wasn't intended in the original version but I really liked that I was able to use it that way. It is a great app - I completely recommend it as it works great once you put in some effort to set it up with your recipes. I do wish there was a desktop version available so I could print my grocery list since sometimes it is easier to check things off the old fashioned way. It would also be great if the grocery list could include categories for where the items might be in a store as well to streamline the shopping process - produce, dairy, dry goods, etc. and I really need it to go back to showing what meals my items are for.

Sorry! I didn't realise that. It didn't translate back the other way. Looking forward to the update! 😀 We've been using this app for ages and it's been great but the new shopping list format is the absolute worst. Please, for the love of God, put through an update that shows how many of each ingredient is needed. It used to be that it showed which meals you needed each item for but now it just says "chicken thigh" - how many chicken thighs?!!

I absolutely HATE the last update. It looks horrible and is a lot less functional. It was a nice, simple and easy to use app to plan and see your week's meals at a glance and now it is not. The widget is gone, my saved dishes are gone, it's like a complete different app... But the new design is undoubtedly the worst. I honestly wish there was a way to get the last version back.

Are you kidding me?! I've had this app installed for months. Dozens of recipes and ingredients lists GONE. From an unauthorized update with a worse interface and all that data just gone. What a waste of time it was getting this app. Thanks for nothing!
