Absa Banking App

The app itself is so easy to use and understand, but for the third time now when i log in with the same credentials I've been using for years it just keeps on saying wrong credentials. Then i have to go in and wait atleast a hour to be helped and even then by some absa banks they can't fix the problem. I am tired of this problem happening over and over.

Fairly useless to introduce a "new" function to apply for a credit card on your app which is not really a funtionality... Firstly, you actually cannot apply for a credit card, they just ask you to give your contact details for them to phone you back. Secondly, I've submitted my details and still have not received a call... Thanks Absa and well done! 💯 🤣

I pay a specific beneficiary every month. Suddenly the proof of payment no longer comes to me. When I try to edit the beneficiary there is no option for my own payment notification, and when I try to change hers, so it comes to me instead, there is an error. Then when I want to resend the notification, I can't find a way to do it. Please sort this out. I know I can request a POP when I transact but forget as it used to be automatic

The app was working perfectly for years, but very recently it does not open at all. Only a red screen shows. Now I can't get verfication codes etc to do transactions via internet banking. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app but no joy. I've also phoned the bank but obviously they can't help me. This is a disaster. Please HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

This app is truly awful. The only consistent thing about it is that it has issues, not least of which is the two-step authentification. This is supposedly the main selling point re security so I expected it to work well. But, lo and behold! My mattress would be more trustworthy. And without any irony - the help centre is unhelpful. Apparently your app slogan is AfriCAN'Tnacity.
